SIRI Education and Empowerment Society for Rural Development is a non-profit voluntary organization (Tax exempt organization) established in the year of 1996 and registered under Andhra Pradesh Societies Registration Act, 1350 in Hyderabad Now the Organization is functioning in Adilabad District committed to provide socio-economic support to the poorest rural Peoples. While the short term goals are to supplement the meager resources for subsistence, the long term objectives are Poverty Alleviation, Economic Independence and Social Emancipation of the poorest rural Peoples.Building social assets along with economic assets are very important to achieve any meaningful results in our poverty alleviation efforts.Empowerment of women is an integral and significant part of it.
When we empower a Rural Peoples, we are empowering a family, and thereby society. Therefore, SIRI en-devours to focus on the socio-economic development aspects of the poor Peoples. On the social side, the emphasize is on education, health, sanitation, access to drinking water, eradication of social evils, such as dowry, child labor etc. On the economic side, SIRI is committed to provide collateral free micro-credit for a meaningful income generating activities, and micro-entrepreneurship, economically viable and environmentally sustainable, and eventually guide them to be independent, and be masters of their own destiny, breaking the age old dependency syndrome.

Doubtless, education is the most powerful catalyst for social transformation. But child education cannot be done in isolation. A child will go to school only if the family, particularly the mother, is assured of healthcare and empowered. Moreover, when an elder sibling is relevantly skilled to be employable and begins earning, the journey of empowerment continues beyond the present generation.
Our vision is to improve livelihood standards of people of below poverty line by providing them education ,healthcare and awareness .
